Swarovski reports six percent growth in first-half crystal sales
Swarovski increased revenue from its crystal business by six percent in the first half of 2026 compared with the same period last year, the company told ORF. Sales in the jewellery category rose by 11 percent.
The company said it had continued its positive growth trend. Detailed revenue figures will not be published until the annual results are released.
Growth was recorded across all major regions. On a comparable basis, revenue rose by 11 percent in Asia and the Middle East, 10 percent in North and South America, and five percent in Europe.
Swarovski reported positive growth in eight of its 10 most important markets. Japan recorded a 32 percent increase and the United States a 12 percent rise. Greater China, however, recorded a two percent decline.
In the 2025 financial year, Swarovski said revenue had risen by six percent through organic growth to 1.97 million euros.
The crystal company, headquartered in Wattens, is present in more than 140 countries and employs about 18,300 people worldwide, according to its own figures. In recent years, the company has faced upheaval involving both its management and its financial situation, including the effects of the coronavirus crisis.
Wattens, the company headquarters, has seen extensive job cuts. About 2,480 people were still employed there in January, with numbers continuing to fall. The workforce is expected to eventually number about 2,100.
