Bus hits cyclist in Kappl road gallery

A 29-year-old cyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a bus in a covered road gallery in Kappl, Tyrol, on Wednesday, ORF reported.
Police said the accident happened at about 2:30 p.m. The 32-year-old Austrian bus driver was travelling towards Kappl when the bus touched the German cyclist in the “Toter Mann” gallery. The cyclist was also travelling towards Ischgl.
The driver initiated emergency braking. After receiving first aid, the cyclist was taken by rescue helicopter to Zams Hospital.
