Police catch drunk driver twice in two days

Police in Piding stopped a 34-year-old driver for drink-driving for the second time in two days, ORF reported. She was first stopped on Monday with too much alcohol in her blood.

During the second check, the woman reportedly said she had forgotten her driving licence. Officers quickly established that colleagues had confiscated it the previous day.

Police had also seized her car key during the first stop and banned her from continuing the journey. She allegedly obtained a spare key to drive to Croatia. Officers have now taken that key as well.

The driver will face several reports, police said.
