Children’s ball game dispute sparks fight among mothers in Vienna
A fight involving mothers and children at Yppenplatz in Ottakring ended with seven people lightly injured on Tuesday, ORF reported. Police intervened after a dispute that began while the children were playing football.
The children reportedly began arguing during the game, prompting their mothers to get involved. Police said one mother hit another woman with a broom, leading to a fight involving nine mothers and children.
An unidentified person then allegedly threw a child’s bicycle at the group, hitting a woman in the head. Vienna’s professional ambulance service treated those involved at the scene. Police investigations are ongoing.
