ORF reported that a 70-year-old man allegedly threatened his 48-year-old tenant with a rifle at his house in Radenthein on Tuesday evening. Police said an eviction lawsuit against the tenant is pending before the district court.
The incident reportedly took place at about 7.50 p.m. The landlord allegedly used the firearm to reinforce the eviction proceedings. Police temporarily seized the small-calibre rifle and its ammunition and imposed a provisional weapons ban on the pensioner. On the instruction of the Klagenfurt Public Prosecutor’s Office, he was reported while remaining at liberty.
