Man held over alleged rape of 15-year-old at Tyrol festival

A man is under strong suspicion of raping a 15-year-old girl at a village festival in Hart in the Zillertal, Tyrol, on Saturday, ORF reported. Police and prosecutors confirmed the case to the Austrian Press Agency after an online report by Kronen Zeitung.
The suspect, reportedly a 47-year-old Austrian, is in pre-trial detention. There is no indication that knockout drops were involved, authorities said.
The alleged rape took place at about 3.15 a.m. The man was reportedly arrested near the scene, according to Kronen Zeitung.
Authorities declined to provide further details, citing the ongoing investigation. The detention was ordered on suspicion of raping a minor.
