Horse trailer crashes into four parked cars in Spielberg

A car towing a horse trailer carrying two horses crashed into four parked vehicles in Spielberg in the Murtal district on Sunday evening, ORF reported.
The accident happened at about 9.15 p.m. The driver lost control of the car for an unknown reason and left the road. The car and trailer struck four vehicles parked in the display area of a car dealership.
The Spielberg fire brigade arrived within minutes with 20 firefighters. A veterinarian was also called to the scene and guided the rescue operation. Firefighters freed both horses from the trailer, and the animals were taken to safety and given care.
The horses and the driver escaped with a fright, according to the report.
